A TEENAGER who was arrested in a car holding drugs for a man has been spared a custodial sentence.
Louisa Sewell, 19, was carrying heroin worth £1,400 which was seized after a body search.
She was detained when police stopped a car containing the defendant and two men. She admitted holding the drugs and said she was "too nice for my own good", said prosecutor Andrew Fisher.
Sewell, of Drake Crescent, Kidderminster, pleaded guilty at Worcester Crown Court to possession of heroin with intent to supply and wept as she was sentenced to a three-year community rehabilitation order.
The car was stopped at Hagley on October 16 last year and all three occupants arrested.
Sewell was carrying 3.8 grammes of heroin and said she had seen one man hand over £20 to a dealer. Neither of the men were charged.
Michael Anning, defending, said she had been taken advantage of by older men.
