SURELY with the pressure that the RSPCA and other animal charities are under, South Shropshire District Council could have been more compassionate to Sandra Whitmore's plight (Dog rescue centre loses planning dispute, May 9)
I have had two dogs from Forest Dog Rescue and I am amazed by the resilience of Mrs Whitmore after the stress and strain she has been under.
Helping animals is a thankless task in this society but those who do it are surely blessed.
