HOCKEY: One of Stourport's three internationals who head to the Commonwealth Games later this year was among the winners at the club's annual awards dinner.
Richard Johns was presented with the first team men's most valuable player accolade by his captain Phil Lashford at Wharton Park Golf Club.
Johns and fellow Welsh internationals Matt Simkins and Laith El Khatib helped to ensure Stourport's national league status for next season.

Ladies' section: clubwoman Pat Terry, young player Kerry Maughan, top goal scorer and first team player of the season Fran Long, seconds Kathy Doyle, thirds Renata Kirszniuk.
Men's section: firsts player of the season John, seconds Paul Taylor, thirds Bruce Baron, fourths Steve Taylor, fifths Michael Shaw, sixths Garth Whale, club top goal scorer David Knott (50 goals), club development award Kim Johnson, veteran of the year award Steve Ellis, Dominic Gilhooly Memorial Trophy Ian Evans, clubman Pete Terry.
