BUDDING artists are being invited to enrol on a summer school as a taster for a degree course.
Malvern Hills College is registering students for its fourth art summer school run in conjunction with University College Worcester.
The two institutions have been running the course since 1998 and the module "landscape and visual identity" has been written especially for the summer school by UCW.
It offers a taster for anyone thinking of studying art at university and the module can be counted towards an art degree.
There will be an introductory taster session at UCW's Henwick Road campus on Monday, June 17 between 10am and noon.
The summer school will run from Monday, July 8, until Friday, July 26. There are no formal entry requirements and it costs £145.
"It's an excellent course and offers students an insight into the study of fine art at degree level," said Maureen Gamble, senior lecturer in fine art at UCW.
Students on the course will be allocated traditional studio space at Malvern Hills College.
