DEAR EDITOR - I am sure your readers will have read with relief and delight the news with regards to the former UEF site in Bromsgrove and the proposals for the creation of up to 700 jobs.
I am equally sure that the new leader of the Conservative group, Councillor Dennis Norton, would be the first to thank the former leader, Cllr Nick Psirides, for all the hard work that he and his cabinet have put in over many months to secure the best possible deal for Bromsgrove.
These negotiations have, necessarily and for obvious reasons been confidential and Cllr Psirides has not been able to answer the many criticisms levelled against him.
On behalf of the Conservative group and the people of Bromsgrove - thank-you Nick!
Ann Doyle,
(Con - Barnt Green),
Bromsgrove District Council.
