DEAR EDITOR - I was looking on the web site for the Advertiser/Messenger and came across an article entitled 'Fifty Years Ago - March 22, 1952' which mentioned a blood donation session that took place in Bromsgrove on that date which had 101 blood donors.
I am currently looking for blood donors who have been donating since 1952 to celebrate the Queen's Jubilee, and I wondered if any readers may have attended that session - or sessions in that year as a nice comparison with the way things have or haven't changed.
If they would make contact with me that would be appreciated.
Many donors have continued to donate since 1952 and will have this year been donating for 50 years.
