A TEACHER at St Nicholas Middle School, Pinvin, has been suspended for fourteen days, pending an investigation.
Staff were informed last week by new headteacher, Keiran Saddington.
Neither the nature of the investigation, nor the name of the individual teacher has been revealed.
Worcestershire County Council's press officer, Tom Preston said: "We can confirm that a member of staff has been suspended from St Nicholas C of E Middle School in Pinvin for an initial period of 14 working days pending an investigation.
"The school has followed standard procedures.
"The suspension does not pre-empt or comment upon the possible outcome of the investigation."
Chairman of the governors, Adrian Ragbourne was not available for comment as the Journal went to press.
