BECAUSE of the time of year, Vale Wildlife Hospital and Rehabilitation Centre, at Beckford, is getting extremely busy, with many baby birds and mammals coming in on a daily basis.
At this time, we are always short of volunteers, not only during the day and at weekends but also for evening work, as many of our "patients" need hand feeding and cleaning out on a regular basis from first thing in the morning until late into the evening. The work is varied and interesting but can also be pretty mucky!
If you are over 16 years of age and can spare a few hours, either from 8 in the morning or from around 5.30 in the afternoons, please give us a ring on 01386 882288 (between 8am - 5pm) to discuss it further.
Volunteers are also needed to man our charity shop, as well as the shop in our Visitor Centre, both in Evesham.
Please help us to help Britain's wildlife.
CAROLINE GOULD,
Manager, Vale Wildlife Rescue.
