NEW boy Dave Whitehead made an impact for Cookhill on Saturday as Paul Williams' side skittled out Hallow for 24 runs. The former Lye left armer, who dropped four divisions to join the Nevill Arms side, filled his boots with five for six off eight overs.
And at the other end Simon Edmunds finished with 5-16 as Hallow said goodbye.
Another new face, Greg Pryor, helped Paul Williams' team post a daunting 225-3 with South African Billy Harris chipping in with 66.
But the hard-earned total was not needed as the bowlers cut loose.
Harris is unavailable as fourth placed Cookhill entertain third placed Teme Valley on Saturday (2pm start).
