I HAVE no wish to join the correspondence from Brian Hunt and Gary Kibblewhite on asylum seekers.
However, I do feel that Brian is being less than honest in his recent letter (You Say, May 3) when he says he does not speak for the Independents.
During the recent city council elections an Independent leaflet was distributed on which it clearly said it was issued by Brian Hunt.
If he does not speak for them one must ask why he puts his name to their leaflet.
Perhaps more importantly though, do any of your readers really believe that Brian does not speak for the Independents?
