COMMUNITY-minded Alcester residents have been taking to the streets to tidy up the town for the Alcester in Bloom competition.
The In Bloom committee has been organising litter picks around the town so the streets look spick and span and ready for the judges.
A number of organisations got involved in the operation, including the Court Leet and Oversley Green Residents Association.
Meanwhile, a coffee morning was held on Saturday to raise money for Alcester in Bloom.
The event was held courtesy of Jim and Sue Adams and people were even given a taxi service to guarantee they could make it.
