THE thriving Blockley-based North Cotswolds Young Cricketers Club will again be fielding teams at under 12-13-14 and 16 level this season in the Cotswold Hills Junior League.
The new campaign begins on Sunday, May 5 with both the under-12s and 14s in action against Evesham.
With an influx of newcomers the club will also be running an under-11s team which will play friendly matches.
NCYCC boasts four youngsters who have won county places with Andrew Fisher and Luke Fisher playing for Oxfo-rdshire and Ben Hughes and Tom Clarkson representing Worcestershire.
During the past few weeks youngsters of all ages have been attending the three times weekly indoor coaching sessions. Ken Biddulph the former Somerset County Cricketer has joined the club's coaching team.
