Brilliant headline in the paper: "Church tells people not to love their Neighbours!" Well in the tradition of the excellent journalism we've come to expect from the Journal.
The headline was over your report on our challenge to read the New Testament in half-hour daily doses over the next eight weeks. This could mean, says our minister Edward Pillar, giving up watching a favourite TV soap to do it. This is a tough call for us who addicted to the likes of Eastenders.
However, if you need a daily 'fix' of the stuff of soaps, such as drama, love, hate, and so on, the interesting thing is that you will find it all in the New Testament. And it has a fantastic conclusion which will blow the mind - 'Lord of the Rings' eat your heart out!.
Your readers can find out more of the challenge - and a weekly quiz - from our minister on 446368 or at our website:
