I have been following the hunting debate with interest, and, at risk of boring people further , would like to add my two-penuth.
Obstructing the Public Highway is an illegal act. Failing to keep your dog under complete control in public is an illegal act. Unauthorised usage of another persons property is an illegal act. Using somebody else's property when they have specifically asked you not to, probably illegal but definitely selfish in the extreme. Allowing dogs out in public with the express purpose of killing with them must surely make them "dangerous" and in need of muzzles? Finally, I have never seen a hunt with any "pooper scoopers", another illegality surely. No need the ban hunting, just make the laws of the land and they will ban themselves.
