STRATFORD Racecourse is set to increase its crowd figures on Saturday for the first of ten meetings over the next four months.
Last month's Irish Day brought the fans flocking to Luddington Road and another bumper turnout is expected this weekend.
Major supporters for the event are Racecourse Video Services, based in Somerset, who provide Stratford and other racecourses with CCTV and production services.
A race will be dedicated to Peter Delaney, a groundsman at the course who has been involved in racing for over 30 years.
Gates open at 12.20pm, in good time for the first race at 2.25pm. The last on the six-race card is scheduled for 5.15pm. Prices, Club £15, Tattersalls £11, and Course £5.
Racegoers are warned that some roads in the town centre will be closed to traffic between 10.30am and 1pm on Saturday. So the advice is leave plenty of time and arrive early.
