THE efforts of volunteers and staff who have kept Severn Valley Railway on track over the last 30 years are being recognised with the launch of a long-service awards scheme.
Staff who have served at least 10 years with the Kidderminster to Bridgnorth steam railway will qualify for special enamel badges denoting the number of years.
More than 200 volunteers and staff have already been presented with their badges which feature different colour backgrounds for five-year periods.
