Brandon Marsh Wildlife Trust Reserve was the venue for the Kidderminster branch's March outdoor meeting.
The first annual meeting was also held in March, when the acting committee were formally elected en bloc.
Author, Alan Richards, gave a talk about how his interest in ornithology evolved.
The April outdoor meeting will be a walk on Kinver Edge to hear the dawn chorus on Sunday, starting at 5.30am, led by National Trust warden Edwin Blunt.
Anyone interested in hearing early morning birdsong will be welcome.
Birds of Trinidad and Tobago is the topic for the April indoor meeting, on Wednesday at 7.30pm at Offmore Farm Community Centre, when world renowned photographer Barrie Taylor will give an illustrated talk.
