Eileen Spalding, area press officer was the April demonstrator, under the title Tat or Treasure.
Firstly spring flowers were arranged in a wooden fishing box.
Next an old brown vase was surrounded by variegated ivy, euphorbia and eleagnus leaves plus orange gerberas.
Then came an arrangement with eucalyptus, pink and coral chrysanthemums on a pewter stand with teapot, sugar bowl and plate.
Yellow roses, with rust, mauve and white freesias, matched the flowers on a Royal Doulton pot.
Competition winners: novice - 1 P Perks, 2 S Wakefield; intermediate - Ann Mann; open - 1 M Carter, 2 C Howell, 3 E Collins.
On May 1 Carol Hunter's demonstration is called Under the Influence, at 7.30pm in St Mary's Chantry.
