Ronald Willetts MBE talked about the Air Ambulance Service at the last meeting.
Ronald promotes and raises funds for the service, which relies entirely on voluntary donations.
The Air Ambulance has been operated for 11 years and now has three helicopters, based at Cosford, East Midlands Airport and Strensham, and they cost £2.5 million a year to run.
They are manned by skilled pilots and paramedics, and are able to reach, stabilise and deliver patients to hospital within the "golden hour" of an injury.
In March a member, Richard Warner, described his talk as Destruction Testing, when he displayed 25 slides, mostly of post-war developments in the town, asking members to identify the place and event.
The secretary scored the most points.
