The group's 10th birthday was celebrated last month.
John Sparry, from the Black Country, gave a talk about local colloquialisms, many of which come from the coal-mining industry.
Much of his information came from old newspapers.
The group meeting was hosted by Brockencote on April 4, when a talk was given on Snowshill Manor.
May 15 will feature Resolutions, followed by Wearing my other Hat presented by members.
