KIDDERMINSTER Harriers Ladies lost for only the second time this season to the only team who could beat them to the West Midlands Premier Division championship.
Harriers were beaten 2-1 at Bridgnorth after a penalty two minutes from time.
The home side took the lead in the 43rd minute when they capitalised on a rebound.
But Harriers equalised after the break when Lisa Stokes headed in at the near post from a Louise Holmes corner.
However, a late tackle in the box led to the penalty which was dispatched into the bottom right-hand corner.
Fixture, Sunday: Harriers v Fairfield Villa (at Stourport Swifts, County Cup final, 6.30pm).
Squad: Jones, Fowler, Brabbing, Haswell, Pollard, Evans, Holmes, Hyde, Purcell, Freeman, Scott, Stokes, Nicholls.
