DARTS: Red Lion have won the Bewdley Town Winter/Summer League after Great Western threw away a two-game advantage.
With nerves running high, Western lost 4-3 to third-from-bottom Bowling Club B and had to win their last two games 7-0.
But they lost the first game of the rearranged clash with Waggon and Horses to condemn them to runners-up spot.
A demoralised Western went on to lose the match 4-3.
Other results: White Swan 4 Rising Sun 3, Red Lion 5 Black Boy 2, Cock and Magpie B 4 Waggon and Horses 3, Cock and Magpie A 7-0 walkover over Hop Pole who could not field a full team.
