TENNIS: Stourport men's C team came back from a 2-0 deficit at Inkberrow to secure promotion for the second winter in succession.
They triumphed 3-2 thanks to winning more sets in total.
Captain Nick Mantle with Graham Ashmore and Gareth Williams with David Read lost their opening rubbers but came back strongly to win the second matches.
The men's Bs have also put themselves into the frame for promotion by beating Stourbridge 4-0 and Bromsgrove 3-2.
Carl Rogers with Chris Nuttall and Martin Bradley with Steve Newbury were the successful pairings in both matches.
