Police have launched an investigation into the death of a 92-year-old woman in a house fire in Stourport.
A spokesman for Kidderminster fire service said the woman, who has not been named, was smoking at her home in Dorsett Road at about 3pm on Sunday when she accidentally set fire to herself.
A spokeswoman for Hereford and Worcester Ambulance Service said the woman was confirmed dead at the scene.
