AN open air party is to be staged in Stourport to mark the Queen's Golden Jubilee.
The town branch of the Royal British Legion - an organisation of which the Queen is president - is putting on the event in the car park outside its Lichfield Street base on Monday, June 3.
"There'll be all sorts of things, like a kids' bouncy castle, and we'll be recruiting for the Legion Youth Band," said chairman Mike Southerton.
"Anybody is welcome and it will be a day for fun."
The branch is also looking for a new poppy appeal organiser.
For further information contact Mr Southerton on 01299 823882.
