Rev Maureen Dew, curate at St Peter's Church in Inkberrow, has been appointed as Associate Priest/Team Vicar (designate) at St Luke's Church in Headless Cross.
She will be the first female priest at St Luke's and the first to hold office as priest in an Anglican church in Redditch.
Rev Dew will take up her new post at the end of June.
