A £23,000 windfall is set to help tackle crime and disorder in the Wychavon district, which includes Inkberrow.
The cash has been given to Wychavon Community Safety Partnership as part of the Government's Safer Communities Initiative.
It will be used to tackle problems highlighted in a recent audit carried out by the partnership which includes Wychavon District and Worcestershire County Councils, West Mercia Constabulary and its Probation Service and Worcestershire Health Authority.
Following the survey, the Crime and Disorder Plan is set to be launched to deal with concerns raised by residents.
Under the plan, special action groups will be set up to deal with issues ranging from property crime and domestic violence through to rural crime, drugs and alcohol abuse.
