INTERVENTION by Alcester police seems to have relieved the problems caused by nuisance skateboarders outside Globe House.
At last month's town council meeting, Councillor John Hill complained about rollerblading and skateboarding near the Civic Centre in the afternoon and evening and the danger that resulted in the Priory Road area of the town.
The council contacted the police to see what could be done about the youngsters' activities.
Insp Tim Bailey, of Alcester Police, recently informed the council that task officers and the community beat officer had kept an eye on the youngsters and had spoken to many of those involved at Globe House.
