I WONDER if someone in authority at County Hall would instruct someone from the Environment Department to take a walk with me around the perimeter of the Bilford Road Waste Site and witness the amount of rubbish deposited next to the public footpath in this residential area.

A lot of this rubbish is inside the site itself. The hedgerow along the main road is littered with paper and all sorts of paraphernalia, including several bin liners containing waste.

The copse in Wordsworth Avenue is a favourite dumping ground, with all sorts of items left there.

When the Worcester to Birmingham canal was drained some time ago, the amount of discarded household items made me wonder how narrow boats managed to pass under the footbridge.

If the Environmental Service still exists in Worcester perhaps they would like to do something about it.
