THE history of the Lickey Hills and surrounding areas is brought to life in a new exhibition touring village libraries.
Photos and prints of the beauty spot are on show at Cofton Library, in Barnt Green Road, until Friday.
The display dates back to 1834 and features the erection of the monument in Monument Lane, views of Rose Hill and the windmill, which once stood in Holywell Lane, Rubery.
Lickey Hills Local History Society has organised the exhibition, which transfers to Rubery Library, in Library Way, next Monday - until Friday, May 3.
Society chairman, Brian Gould, said: "We hope people enjoy viewing this collection of photos and hopefully it will attract more members for our organisation. I'm sure young and old will appreciate the shots."
The society's season runs from September to April when the local history enthusiasts meet every month at Cofton Hackett Village Hall, in Barnt Green Road, for talks.
