CUTNALL Green failed in their bid to go through the Worcestershire Cricket Board Wednesday Indoor League season unbeaten when they lost their final match to Stourport by two wickets.

Green made 87-6 led by Neil Fletcher (27), Dan Higgins (21) and Matt Harris (10), Dave Cook taking 1-11.

But Stourport, thanks to Neil Turner (22), John Cook (13) and Neil Bailey, got home with a ball to spare, Neil Evans taking 2-20 and Dan Higgins 1-29.

Old Vigornians defeated Belbroughton by four wickets with seven balls to spare.

Belbroughton totalled 98-5 with Geoff Day making 27, Andy Pountney 19no, Andy Hickinbottom 16 and Tim Raybould 11, Phil Mackie (2-23) and Dave Mendham (1-27) the successful bowlers.

OVs were set on their way by Colin Cole and Nick Sproson, who both retired on 25, and Rich Wilkes (15no) led them to victory. Colin Braggs took 1-8.

n In the Sunday League, Droitwich 'A' defeated Wor-cester comfortably by five wickets.

Worcester totalled 69-6 in their 12 overs with Phil Knight's 24 the mainstay, supported by Rich Franklyn (10). Mike Rogers (2-17) was the pick of the bowlers.

Ian Duggan, who retired on 25, led Droitwich home with 11 balls to spare.

Ombersley also had an easy five-wicket win over Broad-was, who totalled 85-5 thanks mainly to Dave Hopkins (23no) and Chris Oakley (21). Colin Brazier took 1-17 and David Pugh 1-18.

Ombersley got home with 21 balls to spare with Brazier reaching 26 before retiring in no time at all.

Pugh also retired on 25 and John Ringe made 13, as Russell Knight took 1-18.
