DROITWICH Sports moved into third place in Midland Combination division three after a 4-2 win at Rugby Town Reserves.
Rugby took the lead when both Andrew Docherty and Mark Johnston brought down Rugby attackers inside the box to concede a penalty, which was converted well.
Sports were unable to respond and Rugby doubled their advantage on the half hour.
But the visitors' efforts were rewarded in first half injury time when Matty Henning reacted quickest and struck well to reduce the Sports arrears to one.
Droitwich started the second half in total contrast to the first with conserted pressure on the Rugby goal.
The equaliser came on 60 minutes when the ball broke to Steve Evans on the edge of the box following a Stuart Fassnidge corner and Evans found the corner of the net through a crowded area.
Sports then took the lead eight minutes later when another Fassnidge corner swung into the net.
The result was sealed in injury time when Michael Weaver broke from midfield to get his first goal for the club.
