FAIRFIELD Ladies hotshot Kelly Godfrey scored her 50th goal of the season thanks to a double hat-trick as her team trounced West Brom Strollers 12-1 on Sunday.
Fairfield took the lead on three minutes when Sarah Lewis converted from close range following a corner.
Anna Morgan blasted home in the fifth minute to make it 2-0 and Godfrey fired in through a crowded box to make it 3-0 after 15 minutes.
West Brom did not let their heads drop and were rewarded when they scored an excellent goal just a minute later to reduce the deficit.
Their hopes of a comeback were short lived though when Godfrey raced through for the fourth.
A solo effort by midfielder Jett Reid made it 5-1 and Morgan scored the sixth from close range putting Fairfield 6-1 ahead at the break.
West Brom tried to reorganise at half time but three goals in eight minutes by Godfrey finally finished them off.
Godfrey's fifth goal of the game was her 50th of the season and Fairfield's 100th league goal.
Godfrey completed her double hat-trick with a fine header but it was Shez Donnelly who scored the goal of the game with a 25-yard drive into the top corner.
Sarah Lewis completed the rout with a solo run and finish to make it 12-1.
