EARLY on Sunday morning I was in Winyates Centre and there was a guy with his black bag and litter picking stick clearing up after "the night before".
I would like to say my own personal thank you to these men who are willing to do this soul-destroying job day in, day out to keep our streets clean.
I wouldn't want to do the job for any amount of money - I'm grateful these guys are willing to! However, if we were all responsible for disposing of litter thoughtfully they could be very usefully employed in other areas.
