CREATIVE youngsters at a Worcestershire school have been brushing up on their painting skills by designing three stained-glass windows for the assembly hall.
Pupils at Crowle C E First School, in Upton Snodsbury, have spent their free time being taught by a visiting teacher how to decorate the windows.
Carol Austin, from Pershore High School, has been sharing her artistic talent with the youngsters for the past seven weeks.
"The project was led by Mrs Austin," said Lynn Biggs, headteacher of Crowle C E First School.
"We're just waiting for the paint to dry on the glass before they are put up in the hall.
"Thirteen children were involved in the project and they really enjoyed it.
"I think it was because it was something a little bit different."
