THE Spa has received a visit from a group of German Methodists who came to the area to learn more about worship and English culture.
The group of ten ministers and lay people went home on Monday after a week's visit, organised with the help of Droitwich Spa Methodist Church.
While they were here the Germans visited a number of places throughout the region to find out about the religious, cultural and economic ties between the district and the areas of north Germany from which they come.
Droitwich Spa Methodist Church's Minister, Rev Peter Hatton, said the visit had been great.
"I can't explain how well their visit has gone, it was fantastic. The group went to a number of places throughout the Midlands, visited both Hereford and Coventry Cathedral, and led worship in Droitwich.
"All of them were very nice and I hope they enjoyed their visit," he added.
