IF fuel were to go up it would affect us personally, because we run the children to school. It would also affect the business as we do quite a lot of deliveries.
If duty was added to alcohol and tobacco it would not affect me personally, but it would affect my customers - they think it's our fault that the price has gone up.
Similarly with VAT - an increase would affect us greatly because everything would have to go up. I'd rather see income tax go up than VAT.
With health, I would be prepared to pay increased taxes as long as the money went to health and not into the pen-pushers' pockets.
I would like to see a reduction in business red tape.
