Partygoers are invited to share in a magical event this midsummer's night, 21 June 2002, at Stanway House near Cheltenham in Gloucestershire.

The event is the brainchild of Judy Lusty, Vice President of The National Autistic Society (NAS), who is donating all proceeds from the event to this charity.

The evening, which will run from 7.30pm-11pm, will begin with a champagne reception to be followed by a delicious supper. It will also feature a jazz band quintet lead by Bob Wilbur, one of the world's greatest clarinet players.

The after dinner talk will come from Jane Asher, president of the NAS, who will talk about her life and the work she has done for those with autism.

Judy Lusty, the event organiser said: "I'm hoping this event will be a roaring success, Jane Asher has lead a fascinating life and there is no time like a fortieth anniversary to raise much needed funds for The National Autistic Society. I invite you all to join me to make this a midsummer's night to remember!"

Judy is looking for local sponsors and donations to help fund this event and all local businesses interested in supporting or attending this event should call Judy Lusty on 01386 840379.

Tickets are priced at £60.00 each.
