WORCESTER residents were able to have their say on how they would like their city to be changed.

The Community Planning Roadshow splashed into the swimming pool and leisure centre at Sansome Walk on Saturday.

The exhibition was aimed at encouraging local residents to have a say on the city's future.

Graham Clowes from Worcester Alliance was on hand to talk to visitors.

Worcester Alliance is chaired by the leader of Worcester City Council and includes key people from both the city and county councils, the health service, police, local businesses and many others.

It was set up two years ago to work together to identify priorities and work to achieve them.

The display will be at St John's Sports Centre on Thursday between 6pm and 9pm.

Questionnaires from the display should be returned by Wednesday, May 1.

"We've received some excellent feedback from those local residents who have come along," said Robert Moreland, head of policy and review at Worcester City Council.

"By touring local community centres and other venues we're meeting a whole host of people and listening to their views on Worcester."
