MID-Worcestershire MP Peter Luff is seeking urgent clarification of the BBC's Wood Norton facility.
Mr Luff has written to the BBC's director general, Greg Dyke, telling him he has been concerned about the corporation's plans for the building for some time.
He said he understood the BBC was on the verge of signing a short-term three-year contract with a new owner.
"I understand the first three-year contract is reasonably favourable," he said in his letter, "but obviously, the concern is what happens after the three-year period.
"I'm anxious to know what safeguards the BBC has put in place to ensure it still has access to its training there, or is the corporation, in fact, planning simply to terminate training at Wood Norton?"
He said he had heard that the buyer was planning to sell the property on very quickly and the BBC had no guarantee of its continued operation at Wood Norton.
"I would also appreciate an opportunity to visit Wood Norton as the constituency Member of Parliament, and be briefed by BBC personnel as to exactly what is happening to this important facility," he said.
