CONCERN is growing for a "vulnerable" teenager who left home nearly a week ago and has not been in contact with friends or family since.

John Jones, aged 17, from Honeybourne, near Evesham, was expected to return home on Thursday evening after visiting friends.

But, after an extensive search of his known friends and acquaintances by police, the youngster, who was wearing a distinctive white T-shirt with a dragon on it, has not been found.

A police spokeswoman confirmed that he only left with the clothes he was wearing and that he had previously gone missing from home before.

John is described as being 5ft 5ins tall and was also wearing a denim jacket, jeans and white trainers at the time of his disappearance.

"This is a vulnerable youngster and we are keen to find him and confirm that he is safe and well," said PC Phil Norbury, who is part of the investigation team "I would like John or anyone who has seen him to contact me."
