A TEAM of fighters from the Worcester-based Clive Harrison school of Tae Kwon-Do have enjoyed their first taste of the medals.
Students returned home with a number of awards in in the Global Tae Kwon-Do International Southern Open Championships held in Wells, Somerset.
The following students won awards:
Gold: Helen Box - Girls Blue Belt patterns; Val Wilkinson - Ladies Green Belt Sparring.
Silver: Helen Wiles (2) - Ladies Black Belt Patterns and Sparring; Luke Innis - Boys Green Belt Sparring; Oliver Price - Boys Blue Belt Sparring.
Bronze: Liam Innis - Boys Blue Belt Sparring.
"The team did fantastically well considering this was an open event with other associations taking part so the standard was very high, and we have shown once again we can hold our own with the best," said instructor Clive Harrison.
