THOSE who expected to hear the Japanese characters from the Pokemon cartoons warbling on this single will be sorely disappointed.
It does feature sound bites from the characters, such as the cutesy Pikachu, but they are, thankfully, few and far between.
Nintendo was so impressed with the result, they asked if this could be made the official Pokemon single.
This is a dynamic track mixing heavy metal and rock and not what one might expect from a song linked to an unbelievably annoying cartoon.
If you ignore its sometimes repetitive lyrics, this is worth a listen.
