BEING treated like a princess for the day was a dream come true when Brooke Barnett won a competition in a magazine.
Lucky Brooke, aged eight, won a day of luxury and pampering courtesy of the Disney Channel when she entered a competition in Go Girl! magazine.
Brooke, who attends St Mary's Convent School in Worcester, her family, and her friend Emily Rees were soon whisked off to London, where they spent the day being chauffeured around in a stretch limousine.
First port of call was the photographer's studio, where Brooke and Emily had a professional make-over followed by a photographic session.
Then Brooke, Emily, brother Brent, mum Tracey and dad Ian were treated to a slap-up meal at Planet Hollywood.
The main event of the day was a tour around the Disney Channel studios, where they watched the production team in action and met the channel's presenters.
"I think Brooke's favourite part of the day was having her make-up done properly," said her dad Ian Barnett, of Harley Warren, Warndon Villages.
"It was a brilliant day, we all enjoyed it. It was a day of pampering and I think she'll remember it for a long time."
