THE Chase year 11 student Jonathan Wilmshurst was on top of his form last weekend when he won the Wolverhampton Junior Open Ten Pin Bowling competition.
Bowling star Jonathan bowled a total of nine games and averaged 190 pins per game. His highest game score was 230 and he achieved a personal best scratch series (three games without a handicap of 654, an average of 218.
The Chase teacher and fellow bowling enthusiast Graham Lowen said: "Jonathan has come on leaps and bounds over the past year. It is an outstanding achievement to win a big competition, but to average 190 per game, he would beat most adults."
