LEGIONNAIRES are top of the Malvern & District Pool League after beating Baldies Battlers 8-1 last week at the Cradley British Legion Club.
They are on level points with Lee Tandy's FEAR crew who beat the Lager Louts at Upton Social 7-2 with the Cross Keys outfit taking all six singles and one double and sitting very pretty in second place on 40 points with a game in hand. The Lager boys stay in seventh position.
The Baliff's led by Shaun Daly lying currently third on 36 points saw off the Super Dudes 7-2 with A Jones, K Reynolds, D Harding, Shaun Daly, K Kyte and Ken Jones taking all six singles and one double to inflict the Dudes fourth defeat of the season.
Robopot OCP under the guidance of Phil Lakey picked up their second win of the season with a narrow 5-4 frames over the Magnificent 7.
The metal crew lie in fourth spot, the Seven in sixth.
The Bar Studs took a rest week and come back this week against the Lager Louts.
