I WOULD just like to say how disappointed and annoyed I am at the standard of the bugler at the Remembrance Day parade this year.
In my opinion, this is not the standard we would expect for our fallen. I am sure many would agree with me.
I used to be a bugler in the 1st Bn the Worcestershire and Sherwood Foresters Regiment and could play the Last Post better with half a lip.
I really don't agree with a Salvation Army cornet player attempting to play the Last Post and making a complete hash of it when the county regiment would, I am sure, be only too grateful to provide a professional who would play it not only better but also on the correct instrument - a bugle.
