THE pastor of Malvern's Pentecostal Church, in Somers Road, celebrates ten years in the job this weekend.
Pastor Alan Coyle and his wife Jill are inviting everyone who has had anything to do with the church to celebrate throughout the day on Sunday with songs of praise, morning thanksgiving and dinner. David Skelton, Minister for Care for the Assemblies of God in the central region, will also be speaking.
Pastor Coyle said: "We moved to Malvern from Richmond in North Yorkshire and have enjoyed living here. We have been made to feel very much at home."
He said that in his time at the church, he had seen the age of the congregation drop with many more young families joining services.
