THE true meaning of Christ-mas is not being forgotten in Malvern Link with services and community events throug-hout the festive season.

The choir of Dyson Perrins School and the musicians from Malvern Link Primary School will put on a joint concert at St Matthias Church, in Church Road, starting at 7pm on Wednesday, December 5.

Malvern Link United Reformed Church, Worcester Road, is continuing its ecumenical services for shoppers on Fridays, December 14 and 21 at 10.30am.

On Sunday, December 16, the Somers Park Avenue Methodist Church is holding a nativity and toy service at 10.30am, while at St Peter's, Cowleigh Bank there is a Christingle service at 5.30pm.

There is also a gift and talent service is being held at the United Reformed Church at 10.30am and at 4pm, there will be a children's carol service at St Matthias, with a collection of gifts for the needy of the parish.

On Monday, December 17, at 4pm, there will be a Christingle service at St Matthias for the children of the primary school.

Wednesday, December 19, is the Northleigh and Ascension nursery service in the Church of the Ascension at 6pm. On Thursday, December 20, community carols by candlelight will be sung in the Church of the Ascension at 7pm.

On Sunday, December 23, the Pentecostal Church is holding worship and communion at 10am and carols by candlelight at 5.30pm.

All of this is in addition to the normal run of Christmas services at churches around the area, which means there is no excuse for not getting the Christmas message.
