A NEW exhibition of landscapes by young Malvern artist Antony Bridge opens at the Foal Yard Gallery, Bransford, on Saturday.
In the collection painted exclusively for the gallery, the 21-year-old artist attempts to capture the dramatic beauty of the Malvern Hills, using layers of semi-translucent acrylic colour to create a sense of depth and texture.
Gallery owner Jeremy Cornwell said: "Antony's work has a contemporary impressionist feel without becoming too abstract or losing sight of the reality of the countryside around him."
The exhibition continues until Christmas Eve, open 9am to 5pm Mondays to Saturdays, 10am to 4pm Sundays. For further information call 01886 833337.
